Pediatrician Männedorf – Developmental examinations and check-ups for children

The Swiss Pediatric Society recommends developmental examinations for children at 1,2, 4, 6, 9, 12, 18 and 24 months as well as at the age of 3, 4, 6, 11 und 14 years. The aim of developmental examinations is to detect possible health issues of children as early as possible. The health and development of your child should be promoted in the best way possible. Part of that is the examination of growth as well as the physical and mental development of your child.

After delivery of your child, you usually receive the «Swiss health booklet for your child». In case you have not received this yet, you can contact as about it anytime. In this booklet you can find important information about the recommended developmental examinations and the results of all check-ups will be documented in said booklet.

All recommended developmental examinations should definitely be conducted, since your child goes through many important developments in different phases of their lives. All costs are covered by your health insurance.
